Normal services to resume from 1 June 2020

MyCiTi will resume normal services from 1 June. All routes and stations will operate except for Airport, Neptune & Grey stations. Some kiosks will also stay closed. If you travel, wear a mask and follow the advice to protect yourself and others

MyCiTi services suspended on some routes

Some MyCiTi services will not operate on Friday, 22 May 2020. This is to allow for the deep cleaning of buses and facilities after staff members from one of MyCiTi’s vehicle operating companies tested positive for Covid-19.
Commuters embrace the MyCiTi mobile app

The City of Cape Town launched its MyCiTi mobile application four months ago. Since the launch, over 21 000 commuters have downloaded the app and the site has been accessed more than 430 000 times. The journey planner and timetables are very popular as it allows commuters to plan their journeys with real time information at hand.
Is your myconnect card expiring in May 2020

Is your card expiring this month? If you’re staying at home, you can replace the card at Civic Centre station once you are able to travel. If you need to travel, replace your expiring card for R22 at any station kiosk and transfer any Mover points and money loaded as Standard for immediate use.

Covid-19: Western Cape Government advises the public to wear masks

The provincial Department of Health is advising everyone to wear masks especially if they move around in public. Masks are not the only solution in the fight against Covid-19 and must accompany other good hygiene practices.
Restrictions on public transport eased
