Festive Season Services

With many of us taking a much-needed break over the festive season, MyCiTi wants to help you enjoy the holiday and get you to where you need to be safely.

Our buses will continue operating 7 days a week but at a reduced frequency from 18 December 2023 to 7 January 2024. This means fewer services for routes T01, T02, T03, 261, 109 and D05.

Passengers can look forward to late-night shopping at the V&A Waterfront and Canal Walk while Atlantis residents can enjoy a special service to the Silwerstroomstrand beach and resort on weekends and public holidays (except 25 December) as well as on 2 Janaury 2024.

REDUCED WEEKDAY SERVICES

18 December 2023 – 7 January 2024

We are reducing our weekday peak services from 18 December until 7 January due to fewer passengers travelling to work.

  • Fewer buses will operate on routes T01, T02, T03, 261, 109, D05.
  • Route D05 will not operate during this time.

LATE-NIGHT SHOPPING

Canal Walk,  8 – 23 December 2023

  • Route D08: Last bus departs at 22:15
  • Route: T03 Last bus departs at 22:15

V&A Waterfront, 14 – 31 December 2023

  • Route T01: Last bus departs from V&A Waterfront at 22:15
  • Route 214a Last bus departs from Table View at 23:11

SILWERSTROOMSTRAND HOLIDAY SERVICE

5, 17, 23, 24, 25, 26, 30 and 31 December 2023 and on 1,2, 6 and 7 January 2024

  • Route 247 will operate between Atlantis station and Silwerstroomstrand beach and resort, serving the following stops along the way: Arion,  Charel Uys North,  Montreal,  Tsitsikamma,  Atlantis Cemetery and Silverstream.
  • Buses will depart from Atlantis station at 09:00 and 13:00 and return from Silwerstroomstrand at 09:30, 14:00 and 18:00.
