SMART TIMETABLES FOR MYCITI STOPS
The printed schedules at MyCiTi stops are being replaced with QR codes linking passengers with the latest, most reliable bus times.
The new-look posters featuring QR codes are being rolled out gradually across the MyCiTi system from mid-January 2026.
Scanning the QR code loads the latest times for that stop and direction of travel via the MyCiTi website. Since many buses are tracked, passengers will see the most accurate times based on the bus’s last known location.
Passengers can also continue to use the MyCiTi website, app or make a free call to 0800 65 64 63 for their latest bus times.
The shift to digital bus times at bus stops makes it easier for passengers to access the latest, most reliable times without the needing to update printed timetables.
How it works?
Each stop has a poster with a unique QR code
Scan with your smartphone for the latest times for that stop
Stops on both sides of the road have separate codes, so the times are tailored to the direction of travel
No smartphone, no data or no QR code access?
You can continue to access your latest bus times via the website, app or by making a free phone call to 0800 65 64 63.
