The City’s Urban Mobility Directorate would like to advise residents and commuters that some of the on-street parking bays in the vicinity of the Claremont public transport facility will be unavailable to the general public as from Friday, 2 May 2025.

The following on-street parking bays are impacted:

• Those along Roscommon Street
• Those along Stegman Road
• Those along Hawthorne Road
• Those along Station Road

The bays will be unavailable for private parking as from Friday, 2 May 2025. Cars parked in these bays will be towed away. Road users are kindly advised to adhere to the no-parking signage at all times.

The parking bays are temporarily reassigned as embayments for GABS buses while a new MyCiTi bus station is constructed on Claremont Boulevard. The City will inform the public once these bays are available again for private vehicles.
