MyCiTi Phase 2A Kerbside Stop Locations in Khayelitsha and Philippi
Several kerbside stop locations are planned as part of the MyCiTi Phase 2A expansion of services in the Khayelitsha and Philippi areas.
The City of Cape Town invites the public to comment or object to these locations from 29 August to 29 September 2025.

In terms of section 17 of the Local Government Municipal Systems Act, Act 32 of 2000, you can comment or object to the proposed location of stops until 29 September 2024:
- Email myciti.news@capetown.gov.za and quote the relevant reference number
- Submit your comment or objection via www.capetown.gov.za/haveyoursay and quote the relevant reference number
- Hand in your written comment or objection at: Subcouncil 9, Site B Khayelitsha Shopping Centre, Khayelitsha / Subcouncil 12, Lentegeur Administrative Building, corner of Melkbos and Merrydale Roads, Lentegeur / Subcouncil 13, Fezeka Council Chambers, corner of Govern Mbeki and Steve Biko Drive, Gugulethu.
Objections will be considered before a final decision is reached.
The City’s Public Participation Unit will assist those who cannot read or write, live with disabilities or who are from disadvantaged groups and unable to submit written comments.
