Information display boards at several MyCiTi stations are currently not working due to the theft of electrical cables. Stations affected include Atlantis, Grey, Janssens, Melkbosstrand, Refinery and Wood. We apologise for the inconvenience while this issue is being attended to. In the meantime, passengers can use the MyCiTi app or website for timetables including live updates. We condemn all acts of theft and vandalism, which requires time and money to fix and disrupts the livelihood of residents and our passengers.

Late-night services are temporarily cancelled on most routes from 1 March 2021 due to low demand. Please take note of new times for the last bus on your route. Thanks for avoiding non-essential travel and please stay safe
The MyCiTi fares are reviewed each year as part of the City of Cape Town's annual budget process. During these uncertain times, we are keeping fares as low as possible. As of 1 July 2020, most costs will remain unchanged or be reduced to make it easier for you to access convenient, affordable transport.
On 27 June, we’re adding new stops in Atlantis, Hout Bay and along Koeberg Road in response to requests from passengers. These changes make it easier to connect with MyCiTi and the use of temporary stops allows for these locations to be tested before building permanent stops.
On 29 May 2020, MyCiTi marks 10 years since services first started. Thanks for being part of the journey. We look forward to overcoming these challenging times and to connecting more people to the opportunities and features of Cape Town life with safe, quality public transport
