The City of Cape Town’s Urban Mobility Directorate is proposing to implement several MyCiTi bus stops and embayments to support scheduled bus services operating in mixed traffic.

The proposed stops are for the MyCiTi buses that will operate in mixed traffic between the Sky Circle in Lansdowne and the Wynberg public transport interchange. The stops form part of the roll-out of the second phase of the MyCiTi bus service and will support the operating of the buses while the construction of the primary trunk route, which includes dedicated red bus lanes, continues.

Public transport embayments are planned at each of the proposed stops to allow buses to safely pick up and drop off passengers without delaying the general flow of traffic for motorists.
