On 14 February 2024, we will launch an improved, new look myconnect card to replace the current bank issued myconnect card for sale at station kiosks.

The new card features include:

• No expiry date – your card remains valid, unless damaged

• No PIN required – for a quicker, smoother passenger experience

• A smoother experience - quicker and easier to load and use

Passengers with the existing myconnect cards can continue loading and travelling with Mover on their card until it expires. You will then need to replace it with a new card for R30 or buy a new card for R40. Sales of the current bank-issued card will end on 13 February.
