Improved refund process
We’ve made our refund process a little easier.
Passengers who believe they have been charged incorrectly need to continue completing a Refund Application Form in order for the incident to be investigated and refund confirmed.
The good news is that as of Saturday 28 March 2026 if you have an approved refund application, you can now visit any station info terminal to redeem your refund in just a few steps.
- Tap your myconnect card at a station info terminal. A pop-up message will appear: “Top up available. Please tap again to apply.”
- Tap your card again at the info terminal to apply the refund. A success message will appear at the bottom of the screen: “Top up has been applied.”
- Your refund is now loaded onto your card and ready for use.
This process applies to all approved refunds that have not yet been claimed as well as all future refunds.
