The MyCiTi service will further reduce its operations in the interest of public health and safety, and to help contain the spread of the deadly COVID-19 Coronavirus.

As 28 March 2020, buses will operate from 05:00 to 09:00 and again from 16:00 to 20:00 daily, in line with the regulations relating to the national state of disaster.

Normal rules apply for Peak and Saver (off-peak) travel and passengers must continue to tap in at the start of their journey and tap out at the end. For more information about how Peak and Saver fares and tapping in and out, click here

Passengers can board and disembark at any stops but only at the following stations:
• Atlantis

Only use the bus if you absolutely have to. This includes shopping for food and accessing healthcare or social grants. If you do travel, wash your hands often, stand 2 metres away from other people, avoid touching common surfaces and don’t touch your face. Wash your hands again after getting off the bus. Don’t travel if you are sick.

Avoiding unnecessary travel is critical to fighting the spread of COVID-19 Coronavirus. Help us to maintain a safe transport service for healthcare and other critical workers.
